Recently, Jonathan Rubin, a partner at KBR, served as a panelist on a webinar, “Maintaining Professional Boundaries in Clinical Practice”, hosted by the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

This presentation discussed the importance of maintaining professional boundaries and challenges presented in clinical practice. Jonathan was joined by Barbara Reichenthal LCSW – Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

On February 4, 2025, the Delaware Supreme Court overturned a Superior Court decision finding an SEC investigation and securities class action involving Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. to be unrelated. 

The Supreme Court clarified that while “meaningful linkage” was the operative test, the lower court had misapplied it by comparing the class action and SEC subpoena, instead of the class action and wrongful acts alleged by the SEC as part of its investigation. Congratulations to KBR attorney Katerina Sperl on securing back-to-back awards of summary judgment in labor law matters in the Supreme Courts of Dutchess County and Suffolk County!
