Congratulations to KBR attorney Sara M. Moriarty on securing a summary judgment in an insurance coverage matter in the US District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The case involved the novel issue of whether an unopened email constituted receipt of a claim under a claims-made policy. Sara successfully argued on summary judgment that the email was in fact “received” at the moment it arrived in the insured’s email inbox.
