Dianna’s presentation addressed key contract types healthcare providers frequently encounter, common pitfalls that may increase exposure, and strategies for negotiating equitable contract terms. She also highlighted risk management best practices to strengthen contract oversight and organizational protection.

Congratulations to KBR Partner Betsy Baydala on securing a defense verdict in a medical malpractice trial in Supreme Court, Nassau County.
Plaintiff alleged that the defendant orthopedic surgeon failed to appropriately treat her prosthetic knee infection causing her to undergo an above-the-knee amputation. Betsy successfully argued that the surgeon’s treatment met the applicable standards of care and the jury returned a defense verdict.
