Henry B. Tilson is a partner in the firm’s litigation practice concentrating on healthcare law, medical malpractice defense, skilled nursing and long-term care litigation, general liability, and premises liability. He is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and Ontario, Canada, providing cross-border insight in matters involving Canadian entities and regulatory issues.


Henry represents hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living providers, home care agencies, and a wide range of healthcare professionals, including physicians, podiatrists, psychologists, chiropractors, dentists, nurses, and home health care attendants. He regularly defends healthcare entities and practitioners in complex litigation involving allegations of medical malpractice, professional negligence, regulatory compliance issues, and claims arising from long-term care and residential healthcare settings.


Henry has extensive experience managing all phases of litigation, from initial investigation and discovery through motion practice, mediation, and trial. He works closely with medical experts and healthcare administrators to develop strategic defenses in technically complex and high-exposure matters. He also advises healthcare providers and long-term care facilities on litigation risk, regulatory exposure, and defense strategy in high-stakes claims.


In addition to his healthcare litigation practice, Henry represents clients in general liability, employment, and commercial disputes in state and federal courts. His employment practice includes representing employers in workplace and employment-related matters in New York and Massachusetts. He also contributes to the firm’s aviation litigation and transactions practice, drawing on his experience as a licensed pilot.
