Effective June 1, 2025, New Jersey’s new wage transparency law will require employers doing business in the state—or employing workers there—to disclose the hourly wage or salary for any advertised position.

In addition, when employers advertise for a position that could be considered a promotion, they must make “reasonable efforts” to notify all employees about the opportunity before making a promotion decision. KBR attorneys Elizabeth Butler and Diana-Marie Laventure co-authored KBR Client Advisory, “New Jersey’s Wage Transparency Law Effective June 1, 2025”. Read more here.

KBR partners Kathryn Sullivan, Keith Kaplan, and Mario Giannettino will present at Phoenix Seminar’s upcoming educational program, “Dedicated Approaches to Documentation, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management”, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
