Ed was an accomplished lawyer with a distinguished career. While still in law school at Loyola, Ed served as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Nora M. Manella of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and The Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Following early years at a litigation firm in Los Angeles, Ed joined KBR, where he became a Partner and built an illustrious 20-year career representing insurers throughout the U.S. and abroad in many areas of cutting-edge liabilities. A dedicated and highly effective advocate for his clients, Ed was known for being tough but fair, always acting with the highest integrity and professionalism. All of his colleagues at KBR will miss Ed, our upbeat, calm, encouraging, and unfailingly helpful and supportive friend. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences during this time of loss are with Ed’s wife, Rowena, and their young son, as well as with Ed’s mom and the rest of his tight-knit family. May he rest in peace.
