Joshua has extensive litigation experience practicing in the areas of Employment Practices Litigation, Professional Liability, Medical Malpractice, and Product Liability, as well as Premises and General Liability. Joshua has successfully defended claims in both state and federal court against various clients including retail stores, fitness clubs, manufacturers/suppliers of alleged defective products, including asbestos and construction defect claims. Joshua also defends against homeowner associations for alleged violations of or enforcement of CC&Rs, as well as claims for breach of fiduciary duties.
Joshua also represents physicians, clinics, medical groups, and other healthcare professionals as well as lawyers and other professionals confronted with malpractice claims. Joshua is a member of the California Society for Healthcare Risk Management, a group of healthcare and risk management professionals such as risk managers, patient safety specialists, quality managers, insurance professionals, attorneys, claims representatives and healthcare providers whose goal is the prevention or mitigation of loss or injury for patients and healthcare providers.
Joshua is a former President of the Ventura County Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), a group of litigation and risk managers, claims professionals, insurance companies, corporations, corporate counsel, and attorneys that work to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense.
