KBR congratulates Robert Benjamin and Matthew Masi on securing summary judgment in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama in a significant case against the Texas Department of Insurance

The matter addressed the application of the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution on the Liability Risk Retention Act. KBR successfully obtained summary judgment holding that the non-domiciliary state (Texas) lacked the power to second-guess regulatory decisions made by the RRG’s domiciliary state (Alabama).
