KBR attorney Diana-Marie Laventure will be moderating on the topic, “Disparities in Government Contract Awards, Challenges Facing Under-Represented Attorneys Building a Law Practice” at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Meeting, on May 14th, 2025.

The panelists will engage in a discussion regarding the New Jersey Disparity Study released on January 23 and examine the percentage distribution of government contracts to minority contractors in various industries in comparison to non-minority contractors. They will also discuss remedies, and the direct relationship between the lack of government contracts and the challenges faced by minority attorneys to build a law practice.
