Maria is an associate attorney in the firm’s Employment and Workplace Management group, focusing on Employment Practices Litigation. She represents employers in a variety of employment related litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and class action wage and hour claims.
During law school, Maria served as a staffer for the Southwestern Journal of International Law and her student note on wildfire-related human rights litigation in Greece was selected for publication. Maria also was Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, Analysis & Research, a Dean’s Fellow, and a student attorney Clinician in the Immigration Law Clinic. Prior to joining KBR, Maria served as a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Los Angeles World Airports (“LAWA”) Division.
