<p class="wp-block-paragraph">KBR congratulates Robert Benjamin and Matthew Masi on securing summary judgment in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama in a significant case against the Texas Department of Insurance.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The matter addressed the application of the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution on the Liability Risk Retention Act. KBR successfully obtained summary judgment holding that the non-domiciliary state (Texas) lacked the power to second-guess regulatory decisions made by the RRG’s domiciliary state (Alabama).</p>
