Valerie is an associate attorney in the firm’s Insurance Coverage group. Her practice focuses on representing international and domestic insurers in coverage matters, particularly in the areas of Employment Practices and Wage & Hour Liability, Errors & Omissions and Professional Liability, Cyber Liability and Tech E&O, Financial Institutions, and Directors & Officers Liability.
Prior to joining KBR, Valerie gained experience working in labor and employment law. While at St. John’s University School of Law, she held the role of senior staff member of the Journal of Civil Rights & Economic Development. In addition, Valerie also served as a legal intern for the Urban Justice Center, the New York Legal Assistance Group, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Lourdes M. Ventura.
