Taylor is an associate in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Insurance Coverage groups. Her practice focuses on the defense of individuals and entities within the healthcare field in claims involving professional liability and medical malpractice, including long term care.

Taylor also represents a broad range of international and domestic insurers in coverage matters and commercial litigation across a variety of Practice Areas, including Directors & Officers Liability, E&O and Professional Liability, and complex multi-line coverage disputes involving management, professional, and general liability insurance. In this practice area, she is involved in all phases of litigation, representing corporations, directors, officers, and professionals in complex commercial and insurance litigation matters involving claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violations of securities laws, professional liability, and actions by bankruptcy trustees.

Taylor has previous experience working in insurance litigation, including in medical malpractice, general liability, and defense of claims under the Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act. In law school, she was a member of Cornell’s Moot Court Board and several clinics, including the Asylum and Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic and Estate Planning Clinic. She has served as a judge and coach for multiple mock trial competition teams from the middle school to law school level.
