Kathryn E. White, raised in Staten Island, New York, is an
Associate with the firm specializing in the field of employment
law litigation.
Prior to entering private
practice, Ms. White served as an Assistant General Counsel at
the New York City Mayor’s Office of Labor Relations. There, she
represented all New York City agencies (including the Police
Department, Fire Department, Department of Environmental
Protection, and the Administration for Children’s Services) at
labor arbitrations and Improper Practice Hearings before the
Board of Collective Bargaining. Ms. White also acted as a Step
III Hearing Officer presiding over contractual disputes between
City Agencies and Union members. In addition, Ms. White served
as a legal advisor to New York City negotiators during
collective bargaining sessions.
Ms. White
graduated magna cum laude from the State University of
New York at Albany and is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School. Ms.
White was a member of the Brooklyn Law School Journal of
International Law, the Brooklyn Law School Federal
Litigation Clinic, and the President of the Legal Association of
Women.
