David is a Partner practicing in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Professional Liability, and General and Products Liability defense litigation.  In addition, David has represented corporations and clients in the hotel and hospitality industry, in the state and federal courts of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. 

Prior to joining KBR, David served as Senior Claims Counsel and Underwriting Manager for the Hartford Financial Products Group, where he assessed corporate risks for private company directors and officers and employment practices liability, and coordinated the litigation and management of those claims.

David represents hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, dentists, chiropractors, and nurses in medical and dental malpractice actions in the state and federal courts of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.  David has successfully obtained several jury defense verdicts in cases involving both medical and dental malpractice.

David has lectured extensively on topics concerning risk management, and litigation of complex medical malpractice claims at Yale University School of Medicine – Yale Endocrine Grand Rounds, and Pace University where he served as an instructor for the nurse paralegal certificate course.  David is also the author of numerous articles, including: “Case Study: A Provider’s Active Participation in Legal Defense Wins Malpractice Cases,” Dental IQ, May 4, 2010, and Journal of New Jersey Dental Association, Volume 81, Number 2, 2010;  and “Risk Management: The Importance of Comprehensive Documentation in the Patient’s Chart,” International Journal of Clinical Implant Dentistry, September – December 2009; and “Hotel and Hospitality Risk Management,” DRI: The Voice, May 2011.
