Julie is a partner practicing in the areas of Skilled Nursing and Aging Services, Medical Malpractice, Dental Malpractice, General/Premises Liability, Professional Liability and Medical Device Liability and has defended class action claims of deceptive business practices. She serves as coverage and monitoring counsel, on a national level, for insurers of long-term care facilities. She also lectures on risk management and provides in-service training to medical professionals on a variety of issues impacting professional liability.
Prior to law school, Julie was the Director of Information Systems for a large Northeastern Pennsylvania healthcare organization. Julie is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Practical Nursing School, with highest honors, and has worked as a licensed practical nurse in the areas of geriatric and medical-surgical nursing, as well as private duty and palliative/hospice care.
