Melinda B. Margolies is a partner focusing her practice on Insurance Coverage and commercial disputes. Melinda has worked extensively with insurers, brokers and insureds in connection with business and commercial risks, particularly in the areas of Professional Liability, Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Bankers Professional Liability, Not-For-Profit Board and Management Liability and Partnership Liability. She works closely with insurer clients and insureds to manage complex claims and develop cost-effective strategies for resolution of claims across many areas of substantive law. Melinda counsels insurers on policy wording, insurance coverage issues, and she represents insurers in litigation, arbitration and mediation.

Following law school, Melinda held a two-year clerkship with the justices of the Massachusetts State District Court before joining KBR. 

Melinda coordinates KBR’s Continuing Legal Education program which is an accredited provider in the State of New York. In this role, she regularly coordinates and provides lectures on important legal developments for our clients.
