Patrick is a partner concentrating in Insurance Coverage and Commercial Litigation with a diverse practice. As a member of the Firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group, Patrick represents domestic and foreign insurers in complex multi-line coverage disputes involving management, professional, and general liability insurance. He also defends corporations, directors, officers and professionals in complex commercial litigation involving claims for breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, business-related torts, violations of securities laws, professional negligence and actions by bankruptcy trustees.
Patrick is experienced with all phases of litigation and has authored pleadings and briefs in state and federal courts throughout the country including, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Florida, Delaware, Minnesota, Maryland, and Texas. In addition to his courtroom experience, he also counsels construction companies doing business in New York on compliance issues, litigation avoidance strategies, and pre-litigation negotiation of disputes.
After completing his degree, Patrick served as a law clerk to The Honorable John A. O’Shaughnessy, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage.
