Christopher is a Partner whose practice focuses on the defense of professional liability claims including those brought against health care professionals and architects and engineers in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey.

 

Christopher has also defended health care professionals involved in class action litigation and disciplinary proceedings and has obtained several defense verdicts in high exposure cases involving professional liability claims.

 

Christopher has lectured extensively on topics concerning the litigation of complex medical malpractice claims at Pace University where he has served as an instructor for the nurse paralegal certificate course. He has also served as an instructor for the New York City Bar Association CLE programs concerning litigation techniques. Christopher has published several articles, including: “Recordkeeping and the Legal Defense of Mental Health Care Professionals: ‘The Ugly, The Bad and The Good’” PLUS October 2009;  “Hotel and Hospitality Risk Management,” DRI: The Voice, May 2011; and “Strategies for Defending Malpractice Cases Against Radiologists,” AHRMNY The Risk Management Quarterly, Spring 2011.
