Our focus in the D&O area is to act as coverage counsel to insurers writing Directors & Officers Liability Insurance products. The D&O team has a high level of expertise in the underlying areas of securities laws, banking, complex commercial litigation as well as not-for-profit subspecialties in employment law and healthcare D&O. We act as counsel to Underwriters when drafting policy forms and represent insurers on all claim handling issues, including coverage opinions and position advocacy, supervision and coordination of defense efforts and the negotiation of settlements and coverage issue resolution.

We also have experience defending corporate directors and officers in all types of liability claims. We are sensitive to the special requirements of defending board decisions and executive conduct. We also provide risk management services and offer counseling designed to minimize and avoid liability.
