Construction Liability

We have expertise in the defense of construction claims involving owners, contractors, subcontractors and employees under Labor Law Sections 200, 240 and 241. We are uniquely qualified to evaluate the contracts between and among the various defendants to such actions and determine whether the "grave injury" and/or contractual exceptions to viable third party actions against the employers of the claimants exist. We also have experience litigating the frequently-arising issues from the contractual and common law indemnification portions of construction contracts, such as the insurance procurement and "pass through" theories.
