KBR Partner Joan Gilbride was a Participating Panelist on Emerging Employment Law Issues

On December 6, 2011, New York City based employment law partner Joan Gilbride, participated in a panel presentation on emerging employment law issues.  Ms. Gilbride discussed the June 2011 United States Supreme Court ruling in Wal-Mart v Dukes and its implications for employment class actions, including wage and hour collective actions under the FLSA.  Additionally, Ms. Gilbride addressed workplace bullying and the potential exposure for employers for this emerging issue.  The presentation was hosted by the PLUS Hartford Chapter and took place at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
