John B. Mullahy, is a partner who runs Kaufman
Borgeest & Ryan LLP’s New Jersey office in Parsippany. His
specialties include professional liability, medical, legal and
nursing home negligence, insurance coverage, general liability,
commercial liability, toxic and environmental tort liability,
and products liability.
Mr. Mullahy has represented various professionals, insurers and
corporate representatives from the initial claim through trial
and appeal, has represented physicians and other medical
professionals in disciplinary actions before New Jersey
licensing boards, and has monitored/supervised local defense
counsel on medical and nursing home negligence cases in New
Jersey and throughout the country. He has also written articles
on medical, nursing home and broker negligence and general
liability issues in New Jersey, which were published in the New
Jersey Law Journal, PLUS’ journal and the Food and Drug Law
Institute’s journal.
Mr. Mullahy is admitted to
practice in the State of New Jersey, in the State of New York,
before the United States District Court, District of New Jersey,
and before the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He
has also successfully argued before the Appellate Divisions of
New Jersey and New York.
Mr. Mullahy is a 1993 graduate
of The College of the Holy Cross, where he was a member of the
Dean’s List and the English National Honor Society, and a 1997
graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a
member of the Dean’s List, the Executive Board of the Moot Court
Honor Society, and the Executive Board of the Criminal Law
Institute, and where he was a teaching assistant for Legal
Research and Writing classes. |
