Judith M. Fisher, born in Brooklyn, New York, is a partner with the firm. She is a cum laude graduate of Brandeis University and a graduate of Brooklyn Law School. Ms. Fisher is involved on behalf of insurers in all aspects of insurance coverage matters, including analysis of complex issues arising out of employment practices liability, director and officer liability and professional liability claims. She advises insurers regarding liabilities faced by employers and underwriting considerations relevant to insuring those liabilities. Ms. Fisher has represented insurers in declaratory judgment litigation and has drafted a number of employment practices liability insurance policies for the firm’s clients. In addition to advising insurers regarding coverage, Ms. Fisher monitors and supervises local defense counsel on a nationwide basis and participates in mediations and other settlement negotiations throughout the country. She has authored and co-authored numerous published articles and industry newsletters on myriad insurance and reinsurance topics.
