Dodds-Marshall,
born in
Boston, Massachusetts is a Partner who practices in the
Firm's Garden City office. Her practice areas include
Medical Malpractice Defense, Nursing Home Defense and
General Liability Defense litigation. She has extensive
experience representing physicians and dentists, medical
groups and hospitals, and nursing homes and home health care
agencies in all aspects of litigation from claim inception
through trial and appeal. She is published in the area of
decubitus ulcers and has given presentations on topics
related to risk management, record documentation and dental
liability. She completed her undergraduate education at the
College of New Rochelle, where she graduated with honors.
After being a Federal Junior Fellowship Recipient and
several years of employment in the public sector with the
United States Coast Guard and the New York City Health
Department, she received her J.D. from the City University
of New York School of Law at Queens College where she was a
Child Welfare Fund Fellowship recipient and completed an
internship in Health Law in the Litigation Bureau of the New
York Attorney General’s Office. Prior to entering private
practice Ms. Dodds-Marshall served as an in-house litigation
attorney for a major insurance carrier. Belinda is admitted
to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C.
and the United States District Court of New Jersey.
