Jonathan B. Bruno, born in
Manila, Philippines, is a Partner specializing on the defense of
management in employment litigation, and the defense of lawyers,
insurance agents and brokers, and other professionals in complex
professional liability and commercial litigation.
Mr. Bruno has trial experience in
federal and state courts, and has litigated cases before
federal, state, and local human rights commissions, attorney
disciplinary committees, and the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority (FINRA). He has also argued numerous appeals involving
professional liability and employment law matters before the
Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court and the
Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Bruno has been an author and
speaker on various topics including Legal Malpractice Litigation
and Risk Management, Employment Practices Liability, Wage and
Hour Law, Sarbanes-Oxley Whistleblower Actions, and Alternative
Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Bruno graduated from Fordham
University’s College of Business Administration in 1992 with a
degree in Finance, and is a 1995 graduate of New England School
of Law where he was a member of the New England Journal on
Criminal and Civil Confinement and a recipient of the
American Jurisprudence Award in Corporate Income Tax. |
