Sergio Alves is an
associate attorney representing international and domestic
insurers in coverage matters involving directors and officers
liability and in insurance coverage litigation. His practice
also includes the defense of insureds in professional liability
matters. While at the
University of Connecticut School of Law, Mr. Alves was a member
of the school’s Moot Court Board, through which he co-partnered
the winning team at the National Native American Law competition
in Denver, Colorado in 2004.
Prior to joining Kaufman Borgeest
& Ryan LLP, Mr. Alves represented various professionals,
companies and municipalities in professional and general
