Jeffrey C. Gerson, born in Flushing, New York, is a partner specializing in Medical Malpractice Defense
litigation, General Liability Defense litigation and Insurance
Coverage issues. Since 1991, Mr. Gerson has represented
physicians, hospitals and other health care providers in all
aspects of litigation including trials, appeals and matters
involving the New York State Office of Professional Medical
Conduct (OPMC). He has also presented lectures to physicians
throughout New York State on topics related to risk management,
documentation of medical records and medical office procedures.
Mr. Gerson has also represented insurance companies in providing
coverage opinions and commencing Declaratory Judgment actions.
His experience also includes General Liability defense
litigation of homeowners, municipalities, day camps and child
care agencies.
After graduating from the
Bronx High School of Science, Mr. Gerson attended Washington
University in St. Louis where he obtained a B.A. in Biology and
Political Science. He then received his Law Degree from the
Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire where he
earned national awards competing in mock trial tournaments. Mr.
Gerson is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut. |
