Barbara Costello is a Partner with the firm specializing in
the areas of directors and officers liability, employment
practices liability, ERISA/fiduciary liability, and insurance
coverage litigation. Her practice also includes the drafting of
insurance policies and the representation of insurers in
coverage matters. She also advises insurers regarding
liabilities faced by employers and underwriting considerations
relevant to insuring those liabilities.
While attending New York
Law School, Ms. Costello was named a Dean’s Merit Scholar and
was awarded a Nathan Burkan Memorial Award by the American
Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) for her paper
Copyright and Right of Publicity Issues Involved in Digital
Reanimation.
Ms. Costello is a member of
the Professionals’ Officers’ and Directors’’ Liability Committee
of the American Bar Association Tort, Trial and Insurance
Practice Section. She is also a member of the Professional
Liability Underwriting Society; the Irish Lawyers Association
and the American Ireland Fund Young Leaders.
